Handpainted with hebridean sea hues using acrylic on to heavy weight calico with an overlay of delicate free motion embroidery to capture the boat journey to the remote island called the Shiant Isles off the coast of  Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides.  The piece is 8inches x 10inches of orginial textile art in a white frame with oversized mount measuring.
